TSMC Fab 21 Phase 1
Complete Wastewater System Installation
ASEC’s core team led the full execution of wastewater infrastructure at TSMC Fab 21 Phase 1. This included Acid Waste Drain (AWD), Hydrofluoric (HF), CMP and CuCMP drains, Chemical Waste, Sludge, Backflow Prevention, Condensate Dry Air (CDA), and TMAH systems. The work involved expert handling of polypropylene, PVC, PVDF, PFA, SUS, and double-containment piping—delivered through thousands of high-integrity welds in a demanding semiconductor environment.
TMAH ACF Filter System – Media Replacement
As part of Phase 1 maintenance and system optimization, ASEC completed the activated carbon media replacement for the TMAH filtration system. This involved precise chemical system handling, confined space safety, and close coordination with fab operations—all delivered without interrupting production.
Sludge System – Live Piping Modification
ASEC performed a critical upgrade to the sludge system piping using PVC materials. Completed within a fully operational facility, this modification improved flow and access while meeting all environmental safety and system integrity requirements—showcasing ASEC’s ability to retrofit active systems under tight constraints.
LSR ROR Expansion – Reclaim Overflow Upgrade
To support reclaim capacity expansion, ASEC delivered the LSR ROR system upgrade using fully welded polypropylene piping. The new routing enhanced chemical reclaim system performance, and the work was executed with strict adherence to welding standards, safety protocols, and fab coordination procedures.
